Every child reacts differently after being exposed to traumatic events. Common symptoms after traumatic events fall into nine areas: Bad memories/nightmares, Anxiety, Nervousness/hyperactivity, Thinking/mood, Feelings of depersonalization/derealization, Depression/self-esteem, Physical problems, Aggressive/defiant behavior, and Complex problems.
